The Hood is a baseball facility located in Atlanta, focused on developing and refining skills through individual coaching and training.

Jay Hood approached us to develop a branding and identity for his new venture, as well as a design for the interiors of the facility.

We drew inspiration from old-school baseball paraphernaliaticket stubs, uniforms, etc., and from baseball lingo and terminology. The rat came from Jay Hood's childhood nickname, and grew into the mascot of the brand. We paired strong sans-serifs, with decorative serifs to create a fun juxtaposition and to reference type-setting in the past.

The bold aesthetic we developed for the physical collateral was carried through to the facility interiors and exteriors, with playful nods to the developed branding scattered throughout.
